Five delegates from Single Buyer department participated in the Enlit Asia Jakarta conference from 14th to 16th November 2023, at the Indonesian Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang, Indonesia. The team presented three papers:
1. Driving Renewable Energy Development Via Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) In Peninsular Malaysia (Pn Aeni Haryati, En Zulkifli Meah, En Ahmad Fairuz Jamil)
2. Enhancing Long-Term Regional Peak Demand Forecast in Peninsular Malaysia (En Mohd Raziq Khirudin)
3. Enhancing Grid Stability with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) (En Muhamad Rafi Mustafa)
Notably, two papers, Driving Renewable Energy Development Via Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) In Peninsular Malaysia and Enhancing Grid Stability with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), emerged as finalists for the Best Paper Award. The conference provided a valuable platform for networking and knowledge exchange with industry experts, policymakers and fellow researchers. The insights gained will be applied to advance projects and explore new opportunities in the energy sector.
